Milestone Estate Agents is an independent company which was formed in January 2002. The office is based at 88 South Street in Exeter.
The company is run by two directors who have over 27 years combined experience of running successful estate agency operations for both large corporate organisations and independent companies. Almost all of this time has been spent working in Devon.
The directors have worked together in on two separate occasions totalling over four years, giving them an excellent platform from which to run their own business together.
Chris Sample
Chris has worked for three large corporate estate agents in the Devon area over the past 21 years. Six of these years, with two of his employers, he has spent working in Exeter as both branch and area manager. In all, his experience spans a variety of market places and properties including 'country homes'. Chris qualified as a Football Coach in 2001 and still enjoys playing for his home town in the South Devon league, when time permits. Chris is married with two young sons, aged eight and eleven, and lives south of Exeter. |

Richard Mathias
Richie joined Milestone in February 2006, with experience from both corporate and Independent estate agents throughout the south west, Richie has adapted a very individual approach to estate agency, with efficiency, honesty and intent which is appreciated and acknowledged by his clients. Richie is a keen surfer and for that reason has decided that Devon is the place for him, Exeter became a particular focus point for him during his time at Exeter University. |

Clare Davie
Clare joined Milestone as a trainee administrator and is now an instrumental part of the office. Having now progressed to a Negotiator Clare deals efficiently with customers and clients both in sales and lettings. Clare is a confident person and likes to spend her spare time with the Devon Young Farmers Association. |

James Godwin-Candlish
James has recently joined Milestone as a trainee negotiator and is proving a big hit with our clients and customers. He has previously worked in the retail industry recently and is using this experience to his advantage. James has a great personality and is very willing to succeed in such a competitive environment. James is a keen sportsman and spends his spare time when he can playing tennis, football or the occasional landscape painting. |

We aim to provide you with a personal service throughout the whole process. From the point of initial advice on marketing etc.., through to handing the keys over to the new owners, and hopefully a new set of keys for your own home.
Moving home is one of the most stressful times in your life, second only to divorce they say, so when you sell or buy your home the service you receive from your Estate Agent is that much more important to you. Milestone’s team have all been there so they know what it is like. There is always room, in any business or any area, for a better service and many would say particularly in estate agency! There is also room for an upbeat, fresh approach that truly embraces the modern way of living through such mediums as e-mail and mobile phones. Combine these two philosophies and you have the vision of Milestone Estate Agents.
Of course this is combined with all the best of the traditional ways and it certainly wouldn't work without the 25 years' combined experience that the two Directors offer, or perhaps even the fact that they will be dealing exclusively with everyone that walks through the door. But then, isn't that the same in any business? You'll be noticed for what you do differently and respected for what you do well.
Milestone Estate Agents will provide a service that redresses public opinion in Estate Agency. We will combine technology and expertise with genuine support and understanding in all aspects of moving home and provide an innovative and personal service.
